Dublin Excursion 14.09. – 18. 09.2017

Mìle fàilte!

Dublin is a warm and welcoming city, known for the friendliness of its people.

Our students soon discovered that Dublin's entertainments are legendary, from more cultured must-see attractions and landmarks such as Trinity College, the Book of Kells and the famous-infamous Kilmainham Goal to the boozy delights of the Guinness Storehouse, the Jameson Distillery and  Temple Bar.

On a Literary Pub Crawl we were introduced to the great literary legacy of famous Irish writers such as Joyce, Shaw, Yeats, Wilde and Beckett. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the hilly headland at the northern boundary of Dublin Bay on a picturesque and breathtaking cliff walk which was made perfect by the delicious catch of the day in one of Howth’s exquisite restaurants.

What a wonderful trip!

“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.”

― W.B. Yeats
